Top 5 News and Magazines Apps on Android in Dominican Republic Q4 2022

Throughout the fourth quarter of 2022, the top news and magazines apps on the Android platform in the Dominican Republic demonstrated diverse trends in downloads and active users, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

Koo: Know What's Happening! showed considerable fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting with 218 downloads in late September and peaking at 895 downloads in early November. However, the app saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, finishing with 155 downloads in the last week of December. Weekly active users also exhibited a similar pattern, starting at 1.1K in late September, peaking at 1.8K in early November, and ending the quarter at 1.1K.

Twitter Lite maintained a relatively stable performance in terms of weekly downloads, ranging between 280 and 623 downloads throughout the quarter. Its active user base saw a slight but steady increase, beginning at 715 users in late September and reaching 798 users by the end of December.

Way2News Daily News App experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting with 44 downloads at the end of September and reaching a peak of 695 downloads in mid-December. The app's active users also increased substantially, from 1.8K in late September to 4K by mid-December.

Opera News: breaking & local saw a varied trend in its weekly downloads, starting at 87 downloads in late September, peaking at 703 in the last week of December. The active user base showed fluctuations but generally trended downwards, starting at 6.8K in late September and ending at 6.9K in the final week of December.

Hindi News:Aaj Tak Live TV App experienced a notable surge in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter, starting with 87 downloads in late September and peaking at 1.2K in the last week of December. Active user numbers also increased significantly, from 2.8K in late September to 3.9K by the end of December.
